Accept it !

Will people accept that there was a great deal of support for Booths coming to Milnthorpe


Yet it's still rumbling on, I notice the WG's poll for this week is 'Were planners right to give Booths permission for a supermarket in Milnthorpe' the poll shows 95% of those responding said YES (although for some reason the result hasn't been printed in this weeks WG 9/6/11 )

The previous poll asking should planning permission be granted came out @ 67% in favour if I remember correctly

The latest planning meeting, 60 letters of objection, 284 letters of support and a petition of 229 in support

Planners have said YES

There's a lot of support for this supermarket so accept it with good grace.

You will find that the minority view tries harder than the majority to have their point of view come out in front!

Check to see how long it is before a rare species of toad is discovered on the site which is protected, or some similarly sacrosanct habitat!
